The first adult league FUTSAL soccer championships were held at the Comerica Dome at Sagemont School in Weston. The match was a thriller from beginning to end with teams exchanging the lead continually. Both teams were deserving of the win, however one team stood above all the rest during the entire season - MAESTRO FC, and they secured the championship final with a 7 - 5 victory over the powerful Red Devils team. The league MVP for this inaugural season was Batista (pictured above at lower right), the extraordinary goalkeeper for the MAESTRO FC. Congratulations to the champions and to all the teams who participated in this superb season of play.

The championship match for the inaugural Open Division for the FUTSOC Futsal Indoor Soccer League was held today (August 1st, 2009) at the Comerica Bank Dome at Sagemont School - Lower School Campus. Meeting for the first college-age level teams final, the GOONIES (comprised principally of players from national power Cypress Bay H.S.) AND CABRONES (a team comprised of elite soccer players from nationally ranked powers Sunset H.S., Varela H.S., Flanagan H.S., and Cypress Bay H.S.) met in a fast-paced, exciting match which was ultimately won by the GOONIES by a very tight score of 15-13.

Led by the outstanding goalkeeping of Juanchi Vizcarrondo and the offensive performances of Aly Hassan, Jamie Thomas and Jairon Moreno, the two teams battled through the first 30 minute half of play with a spectacular display of technical skill, tactical prowess and sheer determination, ending with a close 7-7 score. A sudden surge at the last moment during the final 10 minutes of the second half, gave the GOONIES a lead that they would never relinquish, taking the first time event with a regular season record of 8-1-1 (10-1-1 overall) and breezing through the semi-finals with a convincing victory over STA (a team comprised primarily of elite players from St. Thomas Aquinas). The Cabrones had a fine season, led by the offensive talents of Luiz Yamashita, Victor Angulo and Reginald Fauchner and the defensive capabilities of Francisco Tamayo and the stellar goalkeeping from Cory Chisolm and Felipe Londono.

Congratulations to the GOONIES for their dominating play throughout the season which ultimately included the championship final!

FUTSOC USA Enigma - U-12 / U-13 and U-14 Premier Elite tryouts

Our nationally recognized premier elite club FUTSOC USA, is now preparing to select top level players and offer a very special opportunity to form part of the U-12/13 and U-14 FUTSOC USA ENIGMA premier elite squads.

Our FUTSOC USA teams traditionally are structured to form part of a long-term plan, heavily concentrating on the key areas of concern:

maintaining and encouraging strong academic performance,
strong familial bonds, 
carefully monitored physiological development,
psychological balance and harmony,
physical strengthening (agility, speed, endurance, flexibility),
technical development,
tactical comprehension,
proper nutrition, and
the highest level of preparation...

 in order to compete against the best teams in the U.S.

This unique program which has garnered much attention nationally,and has been requested to be emulated by various clubs around the country, is carefully planned, designed and implemented, with the highest degree of concern for the proper maturation and careful development of each youth.

FUTSOC USA is not about the club, it is about the player!

The plan is to elevate the youths playing capacity to the most competitive level attainable, always taking into account that winning is not the essence of their efforts, but rather succeeding and growing. We are not about burdening families with exorbitant fees and contracts. Quite the contrary, we are so secure in what we do, that we do not have anyone sign any contract whatsoever, and the player is free to leave at any moments prudent notice, if not content! All we require is a commitment which allows us the opportunity to train you and develop you, your parents commitment to support you in this endeavor, and the players unyielding propose to attend all practices, games and special events...and give an all out effort every time!

FUTSOC USA ENIGMA is undefeated against the vaunted USSF Academy teams (soundly defeating Potomac USSF, Atlanta Fire USSF,  Match Fit Academy USSF, FC Westchester, Bridge FA, Casl Elite, South Charlotte SA, and playing even with national champions Baltimore Bays, FC Delco USSF Academy, Real Colorado USSF Academy and McClean Academy. Further to this, along the way we have defeated the Canadian National Champion team Oakville Blue Stars and triumphed over 13 state champions in encounters at events around the U.S.

Lastly, our club is most proud to announce that we have had countless players selected and / or included in county, state, regional and USSF National teams, as well as USL Super Y league Regional and National Select squads...too many to enumerate! However, we are most proud of the fact that nearly all our student athlete players graduate and move on to the college level, benefiting from excellent ties at the local, state and national levels...and some are even playing abroad professionally in Europe, Central and South America.
