Coach Jose Tamayo
Program Director
Jose Tamayo has been most successfully coaching since
1974 at all levels of play - including academy youth,
recreational, competitive and premier elite youth, Super Y
League, and adult teams and leagues. For many years he has
also served as USL ODP Club Staff, State Staff, and Regional
staff scout. Coach Tamayo currently holds various
certifications from NSCAA, AYSO, USSF and FVF. He has taken
youth teams in all age brackets to national prominence
through his nationally renown FUTSOC USA ENIGMA (US Club
Soccer) premier elite youth soccer club, which is currently
ranked 12th in the United States. For five years
he has most successfully directed the championship middle
school to two championship titles, and started the girl’s
varsity and boy’s varsity soccer programs at
Sagemont High School, reaching the state
regional championship finals with the latter. Over the
years, dozens of his players have been accepted to all level
colleges and universities and some at the professional level
overseas. Coach Tamayo has also conducted the renowned
FUTSOC Summer Program (summer camps) for over a decade,
positively influencing thousands of
Broward County
youths during this time. Coach Tamayo holds the American Red
Cross certification for CPR/AED and Standard First Aid and
Ncss Level 1 certification from the
National Center
for Sports Safety. He is also an active member of the Sports
Camp Federation (SCF). |
Coach Francisco Tamayo
Senior Counselor
Francisco Tamayo has been a member of FUTSOC since its
inception. He has served as a starter on the nationally
ranked FUTSOC USA ENIGMA premier elite soccer team for five
years, playing at the highest youth level in the U.S. He is
a two time USL Super Y - League ODP Regional Selection, and
over the years has played in numerous premier elite level
USYSA and U.S. Club Soccer tournaments nationally. Upon
obtaining this great experience and working with youth in
the YMCA and AYSO for many years, he assumed the Senior
Counselor position at the renowned FUTSOC Summer Soccer
Program for the last two years. Prior to this appointment,
he had served as a Counselor in Training (CIT) for another
three years. Coach Francisco also possesses an NSCAA State
Coaching License, obtained in the summer of 2006 and is also
an active member of the Sports Camp Federation (SCF). |
